so we can take it he must be signing a contract to work on the butchers counter for the next few years where he will be allowed 2 rows for his own personal fish and he may keep all the tips rather than give them to mclaren who would then give him chocolate coin replicas

Seriously arknor. You really need to read what you're about to post, and just think for a second about how it's going to go over. You're one of the reasons why I'm barely in F1 threads any more - it's not worth trying to start a discussion about something if it's going to get buried by you saying something dumb and the inevitable reaction that it provokes. And it's not just you, other people are equally as guilty. If it's not sunama blithely ignoring a point being made (even when stated plainly, in large font) and projecting so hard that you could see him from the peak of Everest, it's Mr Men baiting the Hamilton fans or drunkenmaster writing a million paragraphs that basically boil down to 'nurr Button sucks nurr'....

If he's at McLaren, then he's signed for them. If he's anywhere else, he's leaving

Unless he's going to Ferrari then IMO he would be an absolute fool to leave McLaren.

Hamilton stays at McLaren, Schumacher stays at Mercedes and Ferrari retain Massa, and silly season closes in a cloud of underwhelming disappointment.

Maybe there's a McLaren PR event on somewhere that Hamilton is down as attending? I've not heard about it, but other people on here are much more on top of the latest F1 news than I am recently so maybe they would know something. Hence Skeeter asking. And instead, all we get is you inviting another argument.

Hamilton's media commitments, just like any other driver, are widely publicised. So yes, I was expecting a serious answer.

Yes, and I expect Skeeter has no desire to either, hence why he asked in here instead.

I don't know whether you do this "missing the point" thing deliberately, but it's extremely frustrating. Nothing about what JRS said was "sarky", he was laying out his issues rather succinctly. And he's pretty much on the money too. These threads always end up with you or arknor in an argument with someone, and you seem to lack the ability to say "this is pointless" and not take a boring discussion round in circles.

I think you will find the most common thing in arguments is Skeeter, be it with me or arknor but you seem to ignore that for some reason which makes it seem like you are just singling me out for some reason. Have I personally insulted you or something?

A good rule for most forums, is debate the post, not the author. And that it takes two to tango.
