Wonders if Surnama still wants the bet 
( Im only half joking because McLaren would still kill for one or both championships but Im also sure they would prefer to keep the No1 on their car next season if at all)
Brawn has done it before, so he could easily do it again - but it must be getting close to the longest turn around he has been involved with
(Ferrari was 2 years after he joined they won a championship or was it three , brawn was 2 1/2 I seem to recall, this is already 3rd year of Merc and it wont be this year so its 4 years plus)

Brawn isn't pulling the important strings at Mercedes like he was at Ferrari and Honda/Brawn is he? I thought Mercedes had made him take a bit more of a back seat.
Its sort of an odd one. I followed Button, and therefore Honda and Brawn for years, but Mercedes just feel completely isolated from that past. But like I said, they could turn it around.
Do we have any news on his replacement at McLaren? Or is it just speculation?

I guess we will have to wait and see what the detail of the deal are, unless they are already out?

Crazy move... If merc go another season or two without solid results they will start to scale back / sell. Wonder what rosberg thinks about playing second fiddle?

Unfortunately, I don't think he will, I think he's shown it's all about the money, and if that's the motive, he'll definitely feel good about what he'll be earning

From the BBC article it he's banking on Brawn building a dominant car like he did for Ferrari and Brawn, and taking advantage of the new rules in 2014. Sounds like he's already written off next year.
All this move means is that for the next few years he'll have a full bank account but empty trophy cabinet.
