Neither of the three siblings are entitled to anything. It seems there was a policy created 30 years ago that the direct ascendant to the throne would inherit the lot and not have to pay any inheritance tax on it.

I'm not sure, AFAIK, in normal circumstances, It would be a gift and I think would only be subject to inheritance tax if the King were to die within the next 7 years (with anything passed to William also exempt). Though I don't know if there is anything special about the legislation allowing Soverign to Soverign exceptions that means that anything contained in that and subsequently passed on to others is then subject to IHT.

For example, in terms of cash, if Charles were to give a couple of million to Andrew then you can't really say that's come from the Queen's estate rather than Charles' assets prior and really the Queen's estate is now Charles' anyway but I guess if physical objects that were passed down in the Sovereign to Sovereign transfer were subsequently passed form Charles to siblings then you could say something in legislation that makes IHT apply? I dunno? :confused:

And also James Hewitt didn't come onto the scene until Harry was about three.

Thought it might be worth checking in on the balance of things......

Harry attended the coronation, kept low key, and went back to enjoy the end of his son's birthday. Meanwhile in the land of obsession....
Supposedly >100 bile filled rant pieces in 4 days from The DE. No doubt some of them were the polar opposites of another article (e.g. Meghan not attending vs stealing the show).

Charles has been demonised for decades on the basis of a single affair with an old flame, Diana is sainted despite cheating multiple times with different people, do people really hate Charles that much?
