8 days. Harry said it in that video I linked, 8 days before the Daily Mail make a comparison to her being black and gangster rap with the "(almost) straight outta Compton" headline. They couldn't wait to get stuck in. Also the "exotic DNA" christ they may as well use a bullhorn for the dog whistle that is. I'm no fan of hers, I've got more time for Harry and William than all the rest of them put together but the press were and are shameless in their campaign against her and then him when he failed to do that they wanted and dump her.

Can you blame him? Do you think he is unaware of what happened with the press and the Royal family regarding his mother? Yes she used the press as well, not like she had much choice considering she was the most photographed women in the world and they spied on her every move. No one deserves to be treated like that and everyone has a breaking point. People are upset because a couple of people held up signs saying "not my King" and someone shouted abuse at Andrew, now imagine the press are printing nasty crap week in week out, no way that doesn't have an horrific effect on someone.

As for the Queen, yes she did have it fairly easy with the press because she and Philip were off limits. The rumours are that he shagged his way through high society but it never got mentioned in the press. The only times he got bad press was when he would make one of his racist comments in front of the press, hard to ignore and hush up when its on people's TVs. Other than that the only occasion I can remember her getting any criticism was over the first week after Diana's death.

Well, Harry didn't exactly "grow up" in Kensington in the same way as someone else may grow up in a place seeing as he was an heir to the throne, do you have anymore straw men arguments? The article is clearly highlighting the fact that Meghan is rather different from the type of girl Princes would normally marry or date, not due to her skin colour necessarily but rather her upbringing. Most of the time Royals marry Aristocrats - this is a pretty well established fact.

Yeah I think they were trying to write some click bait article, but the actual click bait was the supposed contrast between the two, it wasn't related to skin colour. You do get the point Princes normally marry Aristocrats right, we can agree Meghan's family aren't the typical family who's daughter marries a Prince?

Seriously its staring you in the face and you find a way to excuse it. As Vincent said she wasn't bought up in Compton, its like saying Harry was bought up in Tower Hamlets or Brixton of the 1980s. You really think the reference was lost on their readership? Straight outta Compton screams black rap music.
No she hasn't handled the British press that well but considering how vicious they are when they smell blood what the hell was she supposed to do?

What brain washing? I think Meghan Markle was gorgeous in Suits and I actually liked her until she accused some anonymous Royal of being racist without backing it up with anything. I don't mind if she decided she didn't want to be a Royal anymore except for the fact she's cashing in on her title when it's obvious she just wanted the expensive wedding and the PR.

It's kind of like agreeing to be a Premier League Footballer, taking the pay cheque and then being shocked when you're asked to run around for 90 minutes twice a week.
