Harry and Meghan to resign

Care to give us some examples? And football players of similar fame, so not Beckham or Rooney, they are levels above Sterling. Front page stories attacking the player.

I'm genuinely not sure if you're asking a question or just pretending to do so as a rhetorical device. I am sure that you'll dismiss any answer because the player in question is too famous, not famous enough, whatever. It makes no difference how famous the player was at the time, let alone how famous they became later.

Doesn't mean I can't comment when the press followed by the public go after 2 of them for what in part is clearly based on the colour of skin?

That seems rather unlikely, it's a popular thing to assign blame to these days but there isn't much to suggest that that's a significant reason for animosity towards her from the public.

Outrageous how dare you imply that the media in this country has an undue ability to influence the people! (They would much rather believe they were stupid all by themselves)

He's not, he's referring to some single issue Twitter accounts being coordinated and responsibly for a big portion of anti-Megan tweets. Whether those accounts have much influence on the general public's view of Megan is another matter, most people in this country aren't even on twitter.

Just another facet of the same campaign waged in the Daily Mail Express etc - Same agenda. Same morons being targeted and falling for it.

Falling for what? What evidence is there linking the Daily Mail and the Express to these twitter accounts?

I am asking a question. Someone said Sterling was being attacked by the British tabloids on their front pages. You seemed to imply that he wasn't any more than other white players. So I asked you to show me these white players of a similar fame that got the same treatment. Is it that difficult to understand. You seemed very sure so it should be easy.

Where does that animosity come from dowie? Do they just wake up one the morning and go I don't like Meghan? No they are told what to think by the tabloid press and it certainly isn't helped by twitter accounts on a campaign to get her out of the royal family. And with nasty scum bags like Piers Morgan joining in because he felt she dissed him at some event and so went on a non stop campaign against her. I've scraped better things than him off the sole of my shoe. But it would be naive to think they don't sway public sentiment.

And what about the racist attacks on saka for missing a pen?

Racism is real and so many people here seem to turn a blind eye. It’s crazy!

TBF that was one occasion and I don't remember a newspaper attacking him but I might be wrong. A quick google will show just how many times Sterling has been attacked on the front pages.

It's the house one that always makes me chuckle. Two people do the same thing, one has a very, albeit subtle, negative tone and the other is very positive. But then there are the countless comparisons between Kate and Meghan doing the exact same thing but one being praised and the other criticised.

This seems like a bullseye to me.
The best outcome of all would be a situation arising where Harry becomes king and Meghan Queen Consort. Maybe then the idiots would finally realise that they have no choice in any of this. Not by law, not by vote; and as we have seen recently, not even by expressing an opposing opinion.

They would be duty bound to bow their head in her presence and pretend that they've always loved her, just as they do with Andrew.

My god, the scenes! Suddenly I feel people would no longer believe in the monarchy... I suppose that's a win all around

You use the word "link", I use the word "same". I used the word "same" because they're the same.

You said it was another facet of the same campaign - how? What campaign? What links the two such that they're part of the same campaign?

Well just look at your post - Piers Morgan isn't a person of colour yet there's some animosity there... Why does race need be a significant factor re: Meghan?

You tell me but it clearly is. Race and some ridiculous notion of class where they/the press think/and the public stupidly believes they are a higher class/better than her.

It would be glorious! We'd also be republic within 5 years. The gammons and Karrens would lose their minds. Sounds like a win win.

Blimey -you're coming across a bit "Daily Mash" parody...

"Middle-aged white man so invested in defending abuse of celebrity he feels need to debate the difference between "same" and "the same".

Why is that?

Based on what?

So you don't have anything to back up your conspiracy theory then... though so.
