Harry and Meghan to resign

I used to be a member of a video shop where alledgedly some of Freds "home movies" were available under the counter  along with other "specialist" titles.

Also used to park outside his house whenever I went into town & recognised that distinctive house number plate thingy as soon as it was shown on TV at the time.

Anyway back OT - I am sure they could find a nice room for Megs in The Tower after all it was good enough for teh Kryas and Rudolph Hess ;)

Well people from Gloucester are odd ;) Not Forest of Dean odd but odd all the same.
I'm always amazed when I go back how you can be in Cheltenham and there is virtually no accent and then drive 4 miles to Gloucester and its like you've driven 100 miles the accent is so strong.

That's what you think Racism is? That actually explains a lot about your postings and views on things, Racism through the eyes of a midwit
Stay classy with the personal insults, why not type it in upper case and then you'd really be putting me in my place.

Sturgeon suffers from racist and misogynistic abuse on a daily basis, just as Markle does. They are both clever, independent and strong women who refuse to cower to bullies like Clarkson, which is why he despises them. The fact that he lacked the awareness to understand the significance of including those 4 women in that context makes it incredibly easy to demonstrate what these 2 women have to endure from our disgusting tabloid media.

No, I have very little soft power. I understand the term however. It is something that the UK Royal Family possess much of.

Edit: actually I do have some experience - a certain Duke is a bit of a nemesis of mine but because of said power there's bugger all I can do.

They might be able to whisper in people's ears at diplomatic functions but they are, or should be acting on behalf of the UK government. They have no actual power and rightly so. I'd be happy if they all did a Harry and ****** off.

This guy doesn't have to whisper in anyones ear. Without his say-so in a huge swathe of the country nothing happens that he doesn't want to happen. He can also get away with building what he wants, no matter who objects.

House !!

I was amazed to look at a news stand the other day and, yes the tabloids loaded the entire front half of the paper with drivel on the pair... business as normal...

...but then I noticed the times had also done exactly the same thing and about the first dozen pages were packed with much the same stories on the series.

Pretty sure I've seen less coverage on national emergencies.

Who are you talking about here, his father? If so he's now king and was in line to the throne his whole life, Harry isn't and never was. And I have a major problem with all that, another example of why they should be ditched.

No. Hence why I said Duke.

That's your projection on to him.

As I've explained Harry was in the position of power. He has given all of that up, demonstrating clear subservience.

You’re assuming he wanted that power. He was never given a choice, and it has consequences that you may only realise you don’t have to put up with when you get older and can see the indoctrination from the outside.

Sounds a lot like a religion actually.

He had decades to walk away. He only did it after the relationship with her was established.
