You mean if it referred to what happened to Unella? I don't think that would make sense as she's not royalty in GoT.

But she was raped by her husband? Unless you are making an allegation about Harold it wouldn't make sense.

Surely the whole point of referencing the shame scene was that a disliked royal figure was publicly shamed for their actions? Otherwise why bother referencing GoT - he could have just said she she be 'strung up' (like it seems ok for leftie comedians to say about former prime ministers)?

Those that are struggling with this just need to watch the scene in GoT rather than just taking it so literally.

Are we casually ignoring the fact that in said fictional universe that women being treated badly is a somewhat important factor in the show? It is not merely a 'scene'.

Nothing he said there is illegal or should be illegal. He's still a nasty little man and its funny that it has bitten him in the arse. He can dish out the heat but seems he can't take it. He has also played into their hands with the press attacks us line.

It does make me chuckle that Roar accuses others on here of being filled with hate yet defends Clarkson who spells out his hatred to the cellular level.

Because he wasn't banking on the blowback. The last think Clarkson likes to do is apologise and even though it was insincere I'm sure he only did it because someone somewhere who controls a cheque book made him do it.

There is nothing "woke" about thinking Clarkson is a ****. He's proven that time and time again.

Blowback means consequences for his actions which there hasn't been any.
 
blowback - it's not Iraq, lot's of other sarcastic articles in the same vein(spectator/spitting image/r4 news quiz ....) M&H are a rich vein to mine,
the people who now respect Clarkson more didn't have a means to submit a supporting comment to IPSO.


Possibly Clarkson just did it to buttress his 23 year old blogging daughters 'career' - scan some of her posts
