Commenting on how frothy people are over something does not indicate that a person cares about that topic very much. Think of it like rubbernecking a car-crash, the 2 frothy parties having a battle is the crash, some of us just happen to be driving by.

Funny Harrys argument is similar. Hes has a problem with the drama his comments have generated, from a book that he's promoting.
He's in the situation, mainly because he put himself in this situation. As soon as it goes quiet he stirs it up again.
