Hopefully arriving tomorrow :D

REALLY shouldnt have done this, but couldnt resist - L

Im going to have to play with it on a mechanical hdd to start with - I couldnt stretch to a 256GB ssd this month, and when I get that I will hopefully also go H55 watercooling as a first step (or something similar)

Its going to be used with a 7970 so it wont be fantastic, but its just something I wanted to try.

Mines coming next week hopefully, not all items in stock yet. Really busy for next week anyways so realistically wouldn't have found time to put it together.

Gigabyte X99 UD4
16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2666mhz
Intel i7 5820K

£647, bargain imho ! My 4790K and Z97 on MM after next week then :D

Managed 4.7GHz (all cores) 32m HyperPI on my 5960X with 16gb @2666MHz :). Could boot to windows at 4.95 but BSOD shortly after. 5Ghz certainly possible with a bit more time, better cooling and tweaking imo.

Loving this chip but it aint half toasty.

IMO £750-800 depending on Ripoff Britain, gouging etc ;)

US price + VAT is ~£625 though, for the record.

Did you add on state sales tax on to the US price. As all US prices are quoted without state sales tax. I think 8% is the mean state tax.

So you price should be US price + 8% + 20%
