Hayfever - Thread

My colleague has a theory that for some 'sufferers' it comes in a seven year cycle, so only once every 7 years. That isn't really suffering is it?!

Mind you this same colleague comes from a family that drinks bottled water only.

This year the worst is over for me, or at least it looks like it. I must be suffering from some tree pollen as my worst days were sometimes between march and may.

I got myself some local honey which I think worked, but it's hard to say to be honest. I also take the tablets and nasal spray during bad days.

Had it to the point where i couldnt breathe last night. Ive heard about local honey helping for a while, time to give it a go.

I've been in Croatia the last 3 spring/summers and didn't suffer any hayfever at all (coastal area), back in England for 2 months and by god I'm bloody dying. Awful experience, never had it so bad. Tablets not doing anything, eyes feel useless. Eurgh!

Suffered since I was about 10, but this certainly feels like the worst year so far.

I've been using the nasal spray, tablets, red light allergy reliever and then Vaseline all around the nose. All windows closed at home, in the car, at work. It's still not working.

Night before last was probably the worst nights sleep I've ever had.

Mine was reasonably fine until a couple of weeks ago, since then had a few bad days. Though they don't sound as bad as some people here.

I find the worst times for me are at night, and in the morning. When it's bad sleeping is very hard!

I usually have to take a hayfever tablet first thing, then I try to get by until late evening before I have another.

From memory mine lasts 2-3 months, so should hopefully be clearing down in a months' time.

Cetirizine tablets & Beclometasone nasal spray working wonders here, also having honey every morning with greek yogurt works a treat!

I was bad yesterday, had to stop work and close my eyes for a few times.
I mostly get sore and itchy eyes.

No problems today though, stayed indoors.

Really struggled this week,
Not regretting my decision to not go out today, feeling so much better now I can breath properly.

I thought my troubles were over last year when I discovered Telfast (Fexofenadine) from this thread, worked a treat, however back to normal this year and it seems to be worse than ever like others suggest :(

Been suffering a lot over the past couple of weeks but today was pretty great apart from two 'sneezing-fits'.

Anyone else on this?
