Hazro - Any Update?

I dont get any dodgy pixel lines or anything similar whie the monitor is in use. When changing res or going to sleep mode/installing drivers etc, the screen flashes one colour, then another, then goes into the proper state again. But during use it is all fine.

Except for the singular stuck pixel I have, which is at least a soft green, which means its unnoticeable on almost any image, due to the pixel desity as well etc. Mine is one of the early models though, before anyone got problems. Bought it back in June, 2008.

Hazro's website hosting has ran out :D

I really can't understand why it's gone so wrong for them in the last 6 months. They keep trying to come back and then failing :(

I haven't bought anything yet, still on the lookout.

I'm tempted to go back to the HP LP2475W, it was a great screen and I can see people saying the later models fixed the colour tinge issue. My only issue is wide gamut but since Firefox is now colour managed fully I can just get on with it.

It's also a matte screen. I've grown a bit annoyed with the glossy screens when I'm laying in the armchair watching a movie as the lights/windows catch on it and attracts a fair bit of dust like all glossy surfaces.

My LP2475w always used to have noticeably saturated reds when running on XP Pro.
Running w7 and new application versions seems to have comply resolved it, might also have a lot to do with ati catalysts colour management and my new 5800 card.
Never experienced tinging issues though.

Anyway I'm enjoying the monitor more than ever now :)

Hiho,

Does anyone have any experience with connecting a console to the HZ24Wi and running the sound through it? I'm considering connecting the Xbox to it via the HDMI port and using a double-ended male 3.5mm cable between the monitor's audio out and my speakers auxiliary in. Will this work?

I've watched Digital television through the hdmi and plugged headphones in to the back before, but it did seem to suffer from the audio going out of sync with the video.

You just have to give it a try :) You'll definitly get sound out.

Well my 24" is still going from strength to strength.

I do have a single thunder bug that has somehow managed to get into the bottom left corner of the screen but it's barely visible, I only notice when I'm pixel peeping to clean smudges and dust - being aluminium and glossy :p

BTW, has anyone received an email from Hazro lately? I'd be interested in hearing who has, obviously can't go into details but I believe a few people here will have been, at least those of us especially who provided valuable feedback on the initial Hazro screens pre-"i" update anyway.

/cry I've not recieved one, but then I only got mine once the i revisions had been released.

Hope this isn't you getting to be a guinea pig with a new model ;o

Shoot me a message via mail/msn and I'll send the version you want. The Lacie website only links to the Mac version of 4.5.5 and 1.0.3 version of BlueEye Pro Proof Edition so I had to contact them directly for the Windows version of 4.5.5.

Hey mate, are you saying you have the Mac Version of BlueEye Pro? Im not convinced by the eye1 software as it keeps changing what it thinks the values are from test to test!
