Hazro - Any Update?

sorry m8 :D yes i meant you mrk :)

thanks m8 for the advice ill get one ordered and contact you when it in the post for the software links :D thanks again mrk.

and merry xmas :)

By Mark do you mean me? If so then my name isn't Mark, lmao :p

The Blue Eye Pro will give you the best calibration and thus getting the absolute best out of your monitor. I borrowed work's Spyder probes in the past and have used many calibration software too but only the Lacie software gave the results I expected.

The XRite EyeOneDisplay2 is the exact same probe as the Lacie BlueEye Pro so get the Xrite and I'll hook you up with the Lacie software.

I didn't know the iOne Display 2 could use the Lacie software! Would you mind hooking me up with the OS X & W7 version of it? As the XRite software is inconsistent sadly :(

Also the red/blue/green adjustments on my latest rev HZ26Wi seem to do nothing at all? They just change barely anything at all, so when calibrating I just set it to 6500k using the pre-sets *shrug* normal?

Edit: Plus does HDMI carry audio to the Audio out port? Wondering if I will need optical out...

As for Hazro, *apparently* I was talking to someone who deals with Hazro (He gets stock from them/returns) that there are LED based monitors coming early next year with every connector imaginable! If this turns out to be true then I might grab myself one!

By the sounds of all the power bring issues I might buy myself one of these replacement ones just incase :p

The red/blue/green adjustments dont do anything at all after the firmware upgrade.

It also may be worth checking the other pre-sets to see which is natively closer to 65k.
On My 26Wi setting it to 7500k setting is closer to real 65k than the 6500k setting.
When testing this though, make sure no profiles are loaded and bear in mind the temperature also varies with luminance .

BTW Im using Basiccolor software with an x-rite i-one display 2 device.

Ah yes do you have an email address I can fwd details to Concorde Rules?

Btw the Lacie BlueEye probs is the exact same probe as the Greteg Macbeth/XRite EyeOne Display 2 :)

My Hazro is starting to do that thing where you can see shapes of stuff on the display being burned into the screen, if you know what I mean. It's getting quite noticeable when you have a flat colour and move it over the screen. I don't want my Hazro to die :(. Are they still upgrading firmware?

I find that running this fullscreen helps.

Don't do that if you have epilepsy though.

Wow thanks a bunch for that! I just ran something similar (this) overnight and now it looks good as new again. Gave me a scare when I woke up though, there was a brown patch on the left side that seriously looked like it was burned and it was way too hot to touch, all good now though.

well sugar me timbers :D and call me a chocolate log boat :)

i was scanning through a few of my older obscure forums and found an uk outlet that deals apparently with hazro products through industry, commercial and the IT side but have an online shop as well.
23" , 26" and the 30" models

23" is in black or silver, Qtn : 30
26" is in black only
30" is available in silver and black. Qtn : 100+

all brand new from what i can see...

just thought id point out this for people still looking for them.

leave your email address with me using trust and i will provide any further links..thats if your allowed to supply outlets via trust as i know you cant in main.

kind regards

HRhino

**P.S. might be a good source for a new PSU as the outlets sells loads of branded screens

Indeed it is back, the problem is that it's showing only the old models; old none i models :(

I really hold no hope of Hazro ever doing well. They mucked up too badly last time around.
