Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

Hello everyone,

I have a really wierd problem with my Hazro 30" Model HZ30WB Q3. Basically the resolution is fine at 1280x800 but if it goes any higher even to 1280x960 the screen has barrs of colour fuzz running down it with no picture except the colour mess. Now it used to work at its native resolution of 2560x1600. I have had this monitor for 2 and a bit years is it dead? It can't be the pc or g/c tried it in a few. This would be my second 30" to die on me the first was the Apple one. I really hope I do not need to buy another because when you go 30" its hard to go back lol.

Hi Silver

I've been told on a few forums that my 2 5870s 1GB will run 1600 fine so tho I'm not 100% sure but 6950 2GB should run 1440 by the looks of it.
Thanks

I recently bought a Dell 3007WFP-HC which runs at 2560x1600, and can safely say that a 6970 (well, 6950 flashed to a 6970) is more than enough to run the vast majority of games at full settings with AA. I expect the exceptions will be Crysis/Metro and the like, but they look good anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much if I don't run them at full settings.
Thanks, that sounds good. I will be flashing mines to a 6970 as well. With all the expenses at the moment couldn't stretch to Crossfire so will save that for further down the line.
I've been away from PC gaming for several years so playing catch-up with specs.

Now if these monitors would actually get a release!!!! I need one now.

its taken me to xfire to get metro near playable on 6950 unlocked on 2560x1440 at MAX settings, im still tweaking it

What is this Dead Pixle Poilcy thing with Hazro why are people put of by it.

Is it they won't fix the problem if something happens are OC the same if you buy from them.

one other thing: If Hazro go under what happens to all of us that have (will have) their monitors that are still under warranty?
If a monitor I bought fails after 6 months but then Hazro have gone bust does that mean I'm screwed?

Good question, what then?

The pixel policy was a combination of us being cautious as well as a misprint. Luckily, not a SINGLE monitor has been reported for pixel defects which is why we will definitely revise it to the ISO-13406-2 when the next batch of instruction manuals are printed. We are happy for current owners to report their experiences of pixel defects [if any] publicly on this forum.

The launch of the 30s went well and we're looking to build on this - with several new models on their way, we have no plans on going bust. We're here to stay.

Of course, I would never wish that kind of misfortune on anyone, but the way the market is at the moment consumers have to be wary. I had not heard of your company before joining this site, so my impression is that you are a small company and not like Dell (of course not many are).

When companies go bust, it is no fun for the consumer who bought from them.
I wish you much success and eagerly await your 27" monitors. How soon now?

they are expected in the next couple of weeks I am told, both versions. I should have an HZ27Wa with me this week for review so expect some information from me soon :)

Look forward to your review Baddass. Still waiting for a good 27in monitor (thats cheaper than the dell 27) so I can move my trusty 2407wfp upstairs.

What's the stock situation like on the 27"? If we all want one ....
Initially not good with limited quantities available for UK purchases. Saying that, the 27s have only really been publicized on this forum so you'll know about it before everybody else.

One piece of HZ30Wi here. Not a single stuck or dead pixel. Even the backlight uniformity is very good. Happy with the monitor.

On reference, my old Dell had 5 stuck pixels, changed it, and the current one still has 3 stuck pixels. Also my brand new LG50" plasma has 1 red and 1 blue stuck sub-pixel, so I am really surpriced of zero pixel defects with Hazro.

"We will have all this tested by early next week. May I know which graphics card your using? "

Hi Hazro. The cable will be a Fisual 15m displayport cable, the convertor probably Startech. The graphics card will be some flavour of AMD's 6850 (i assume it doesn't matter which brand?).

..Hazro, have you managed to run the Displayport -> DVI tests yet?
