Help building a PC.

Wow thank you. It looks like a good set up. I already have a Samsung full HD monitor which I bought yesterday. Not sure how I would obtain Microsoft another way to be honest with you.

I like that you added speakers as well.

Now I am getting butterflies!!

Are these black Friday deals these prices

And, are they actually that difficult to put together? Does each component come with wiring harnesses? And does it require any soldering?

@Mutleyracers just FYI dell are offering a cyber monday door buster deal at 12pm tomorrow for a pc with similar specs for £499 (currently £699) albeit without the 250gb ssd.
i would strongly suggest that you check that out. =) its on their website now to see.

to answer your question, no, it's not hard to put together. definitely no soldering lol :p

edit: the dell option would work out about £60 cheaper (assuming you buy the ssd separately and add that on to the dell machine)
you could aim to buy that tomorrow, failing that, DIY a build lol

Oh I see. Only 40 pounds difference between building and buying one. I thought I would save more than that to be honest.

I shall look it up. Thank you

I would still like a build though

normally building a pc by components is cheaper. and it would be, were it not for the doorbuster deal that dell are offering.
without the door buster deal, that dell spec would be £100 more expensive than the build i suggested

with the dell pc, you get components which you dont exactly know the quality of, but with a diy pc, the components are exactly as would be specced.
only thing is that if it goes wrong, with a prebuilt pc, you just send it back if its within warranty period, with a diy, you'd need to diagnose which part is causing the problem and then sending the individual part back
if that makes sense to you...lol

Ok cool. Thank you so much for your help. I will chat to my wife about it. Very good to know I can add the 250 ssd to it as well.

I totally understand where you are coming from with the returns. I still get excited at the thought of building though

So you believe Intel are good. Others I believe said not so.

I have a screen!

So when it says 12pm tomorrow, does that mean in the afternoon do you think?

Also, what about the Alienware one which will be 699 tomorrow?

means that the sale starts at 1200 and will run until all the units earmarked for the lower price sells out.
after following the black friday door buster deals closely, i suspect the £499 pc should sell out pretty quickly.
i wouldnt get the £699 alienware, you're paying a hefty premium for the size, and the specs arent that great either.

Now that is a strange time to start selling them.

I see they have different configurations. I wonder if all of them will be reduced. I think if the one with ryzan 5 and dual memory goes for 699 I would grab it
