Something has changed with farcry 3. Before 40fps would feel stuttery now it feels smooth. There is no longer any micro stutter in this game what so ever.

Installed straight over the 13.2 b2 without a problem. Sounds like it might be time for me to purchase FC3 - anyone been able to test in crossfire?

I have had that happen to me with several different drivers from AMD. Uninstall and reinstall usually fixes it but sometimes I have to install the old drivers then reinstall the new ones to get CCC working. Weird I know but that's how I did it.

Have you installed the latest .net? 4.5?

Also you might need to repair your performance counter, check your event log to see if it's corrupt or open up an admin cmd prompt, navigate to system 32 and type in lodctr /R

set the performance counter service as trusted.

enable the performance counter service.

disable the performance counter service.

LODCTR /Q

LODCTR /Q:<Service-Name>
query the performance counter service information, either query all or s
pecified one.

LODCTR /M:<Counter-Manifest>
install Windows Vista performance counter provider definition XML file
to system repository.

Note: any arguments with spaces in the names must be enclosed within
Double Quotation marks.

Then re run that command lodctr /R. Once done reboot and run services.msc again and restore those services starting parameters (manual/auto start etc)

Ok, it is now ran in cmd and it said it was rebuilt!

However after rebooting CCC still won't work

Getting nice improvements in Valley Bench, slight improvements in heaven 3 and 4, but 3DMark 11, no changes. Weird.

Firestrike for some reasons crashes out on my with driver failure. Before the update it was fine as I ran tests before for comparisons.

All on a 7950 O/C to 1240/1500

Any benches for these yet? Frustrating that [H] posted a massive AMD driver retrospective for 2012 on the day that these came out.

How about an update with "2013: The story so far" or summat.

I had a problem installing, i done the method LtMatt does cleaned with Driver Fusion, once i installed it showed the orange question mark or whatever it is instead of the green tick and view log, so viewed log and it said didn't install driver.
So thought it maybe be a framework problem downloaded framework 4.5 and installed again and it worked, bit of a pain but all ok now.

I tried beta 5 and went back to 13.1 as I had a lot of problems in the end, but decided to give these a go, they have changed something.....

far Cry 3 whilst no fps improvements that I could tell, it was a heck of a lot smoother, even for me who has noticed Skyrim stutter a lot it was smoother...

wonder what it is they've changed, as even though I've not gained a huge deal in fps, I can feel the lag in most games with v sync on has gone, also noticed a heck of a lot less flicker in skyrim, and the newer valley benchmark was much smoother...

Hmmm see how it goes, long as its working guess its all good.

they do a lot of work on the memorycontroller re-writing the code for each game seperatly.

Aaargh, if only there was an HD7950 that fitted my case!
