Do you lot buy and use the stimpacks to boost your gold income ?

I'm only level 22 overall and gold is so slow to obtain. I know you can use the free rotation heroes to level 5 for 500g but I don't really have the time. Wondering if you see a massive difference using the boosts ?

I've bought 2 of the cheapest stimpacks, they do give you a boost but I find the best way to get gold is hit lvl 5 on all heroes (stimpacks do help with this) and do the daily tasks.
 
Eekfek, stimpacks only give extra gold from games played, not from dailies or level 5 btw. I'd only get a stimpack if you want them for XP or play a lot of games a day, you're only earning gold directly (not via getting level 5 quicker) if you play 9 (>8.88) games a day (with 50% win rate), otherwise you're better off just buying a hero instead.

Whether the extra XP is worth it is up to you, but I don't put any value in that part of the stimpack.

Edit: for a 7 day stimpack you need to play >7.62 games a day for the gold to be worth it over buying a 2k hero (I'm assuming a 2k hero is the same price as a 7 day stimpack since I can't actually see their prices anymore) since the gold to £ of cheaper heroes is poor compares to the 10k ones.

Edit 2: Obviously this doesn't account for heroes that go on sale for half price either, waiting for a hero to go half price would mean you'd have to play twice as many games for the stimpack to be worthwhile gold wise.

The extra xp would be worth it for him as he says he hasn't the time to lvl the free rotation heroes to 5 which is the fastest way to get gold along with the dailies.
 
I have a couple of spare beta keys after they were giving out a bunch at EGX Rezzed last week.

Not quite sure the best way to give them out so they don't just get nabbed by whoever.

Either just allow people to request, so long as they are active or make a give away thread with x requirements. Just don't post them in this thread :p
 
played quite a bit at the weekend and really starting to get sick of public games.
some of the players seem worse than bots :(

I have been after a key for a while if you feel like being generous and giving once to me I'd be very grateful.
