The medical expert of the panel has just confirmed that 41 of those that died had the potential to be saved beyond the 3.15pm cut off time had they received appropriate medical treatment.

The coroner took blood alcohol levels from all of the deceased including children.

How low can you stoop to try and apportion blame, even on children. That’s just disgusting.

It's like the authorities were thinking: "They're only football fans, nobody will care how or when they died."

No like about it, it is exactly what they thought.

BBC's Nick Garnett tweets: "Statements made by South Yorkshire's ambulance service were also altered says #Hillsborough panel to deflect criticism."

How no one can serve time for this would be disgusting and at the same time it is impossible to say what sort of punishment would be deemed appropriate.

and its about flipping time too. I can remember watching it live on Grandstand or something, and whilst I wasn't directly affected by it (I was the odd one out in the family - they are all blue), friends and neighbours were not so lucky.

I don't quite understand what your point is there? Is that highlighting some disgusting behaviour from some individuals or is it made up?

From reading the document it sounds like it could be either way.

Putting all reasoning, justice and the cover up aside, now that people have finally heard the truth, maybe they can finally let their loved ones truly RIP.

Thankfully, sporting events are a lot safer today thanks to better policing, stadias, public safety etc. it's just a shame that this only came about from the unjustifiable sacrifices that were made not just at Hillsborough, but Bradford too.

Created by the police to be fed the papers to clear themselves and put blame on Liverpool with stuff like that.

My point? How ****ing pathetic and messed up do you have to be to put down as fact and possibly have people arrested for raping dead/dying people????

Ah right, that didn't seem clear from the document to me. Are you sure it's made up by the police? There are always a few bad apples you know... To me it is believable that someone could have said/done those things however I imagine the police just used those few idiots as a way to use the whole Liverpool crowd as a scapegoat. Not trying to cloud the real issue or say that it gets the police off the hook, but there are always a few scumbags around.

Not trying to take anything away from the issue though, it was incredibly tragic and disgusting the way it was swept under the carpet. I hope they manage to actually find the relevant people accountable now.

Well weird there are no pictures of anything of the like happening, or the fact no one who was actually on the pitch saw any of this happening, you know other than the police who actually didn't really help or get involved. I'm guessing you don't know much about it but no, it is quite clearly fabricated and a load of ****

And it is clear if you read the document.

Captain Hindsight to the rescue:

Chief Constable David Crompton says the police statements were amended after officers sought "independent legal advice". He adds that "people thought it was the right course of action at the time" but concedes time has shown it was not.

It takes time (23 years to be exact) to realise that police lying about the version of events was not the right course of action!??
