***Hogwarts Legacy - RPG***

My fear is it'll be too empty. Great fun lovely world to explore, but not enough to do. It's the issue when you have games like skyrim that have 100 hours without even breaking a sweat, if this ends up being 25 hours and that's with most stuff done, just the grind left, that will be possibly disappointing. With that said, I did enjoy jedi fallen order, and that wasn't very long, especially if you don't do the needlessly slow tasks to get all the skins

Bloody loons.

even more looney tunes is the 'disclaimer' thingy at the bottom;

Although she is not involved in the development of Hogwarts Legacy, GamesRadar+ acknowledges the role of J.K. Rowling in the creation of the Wizarding World, as well as her publicly-stated, harmful views regarding the rights of transgender people. If you’d like to offer your support to the communities affected by Rowling’s rhetoric, consider donating to the National Center for Transgender Equality(opens in new tab) in the US, or Mermaids(opens in new tab) in the UK.

Confusingly we had a pallet load of promotional material for this game come through work and it had a big legend about it being a PS5 exclusive for 6 months (unfortunately I couldn't open it up to see the full context - but it wasn't just about bonus content), though the web-site has all the main platform launches on the 10th of Feb with a couple of other platforms later in the year. A bit more digging shows there is some PS4 and 5 exclusive content though.

Ps5 guaranteed to play, pc could struggle but also, potentially look better if you have good enough hardware
I'm sure the developer will prioritise optimisation on PS5. The problem is developers seem to be using DLSS 3 Frame Generation as a crutch on PC since the 40 series came out, even though many of us don't have it.

Not long til this now, I'll be waiting for some feedback before possibly buying it, my question is as someone who didnt read the books or watch the movies, or was even interested in Harry Potter, would I be missing a lot if I played with no knowledge of the Potter universe? or do we think that playing without knowledge wont mean missing out on much?

Harry Potter books/movies are some of my favourite series of all time. I highly recommend giving them a go. No doubt hogwarts legacy will be full of Easter eggs, and possibly cool moments that have no value to you if you don't understand why they matter

Hmm , I was worried about that. I've really no interest in reading the books or watching the movies , was hoping that I wouldnt miss out on too many references but sounds like I'll miss a lot. I'll factor that in on any decision to possibly buy.
