***Hogwarts Legacy - RPG***

Read all the books but can easily see why the first one wasn't picked up for a while.
Really? I think the first is just so good to stsrt the franchise. It has got great imagination in it, while keeping it close to reality that you can instantly imagine what you're reading could be true. Half blood Prince is the best one, but I felt the first did a good job as being the first

I've been following this for a while, but I have no faith in games anymore, I just can't see this being as advertised at all. I've lost hope in gaming, so the only way to tell if this game is good or not, is to wait for user reviews in my opinion.

I'm gonna put this into words now... Currency purchases needed for cosmetics and time savers. I am willing to bet my left nut on those being in the game within a month. It just looks designed for it, especially with the real world timers on potion creation for example. You just know you'll have 'wait 24 hours for X, or pay 3000 <insert paid currency> to instant complete.

Apparently not, fortunately!

Well the 2 hour hands-on preview reports are out and they all seem very positive for what its worth.
Yeah I've watched several of them, the invisible walls "please return to the game area" type things in the open world were a bit annoying. Hopefully there isnt too much of that and there was quite a lot of texture pop-in (but that might have been because it was the console version) but other than that, looked decent

Yeah that would be annoying and poor development except on the extremes of bounds rather than main gameplay areas.

I wouldn't really consider myself a Harry Potter fan, I've never read any of the books but I have seen all of the films and found them entertaining enough. The world does seem like a perfect fit for a roleplaying game, I'll likely give it a try when it comes out.

Is it me or are all these 2 hour play session vids sounding almost the exact same? Or at least covering the same subjects?

Either way, looks good so far!
Well they were all limited to the same areas and the same quests, so in effect they all played the same content, I guess its no surprise that they then ended up all talking about the same things
