Its £15 and you damaged something that needed replacing. If it was a set and you can't buy them on their own then replacing the set is not at all unreasonable.

Check amazon for the cost of the replacement .... I did a quick search and £15 looks entirely reasonable unless it was something at the real budget end.

You asked them to replace it at your expense so kind of shot yourself in the foot. I think £15 is more than fair.
