Will there be Eyefinity Support?
Not initially, but this is something we could add if there is strong demand for it.

Steamworks seems to be the mostly-likely DRM solution for the PC release. Will this mean that Online Pass will not be implemented for the Steam versions of the game?
There will be no online pass for PC Homefront. DRM is something we take very seriously from the end user point of view. While some form of DRM is vital, we want it to affect the user experience as little as possible. Our DRM is Steamworks based, and will require the user to have a Steam client (to which they need to log in during the installation process). Steamworks DRM is the least intrusive that we have seen, and it does not require the user to keep original disks. Since we are also distributing the game via Steam, it is the obvious choice.

Excuse me for being dumb but can someone tell me whether this means PC copies can be sold on after purchase?

Nope, when a game on disc requires you to install Steam to run it, you cannot sell it on.

This game is also coming to OnLive in the US on 15th March so you will be able to watch it being played for a couple of days before the UK gets its hands on it.

You can sign up on their website now and download the client to play trials and watch others in the arena. I don't think they have officially launched it anywhere but the USA yet.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that on 15th when it's released, you will get a 30-minute trial to play the game yourself!

Frontlines was fun but flawed and buggy, this looks very similar and a bit of a cod clone. Seen a video that had the exact same knife animation :confused:

. Just doesn't seem worth it at the moment, best hang on for BF3 myself.

I get what you are saying but BF3 is not going to be released for ages yet, I was hoping this would be a decent stop gap.

The multiplayer trailer I saw revealed this to be a COD clone with big numbers appearing after every kill to make people feel good about themselves, and for that reason, I'm out.

Was mildly looking forward to this filling a few months before BF3, but I seen that trailer to, the game play looks ****ing shocking.

If you haven't seen it yet Imagine Duty Calls minus the funny or the being free, it is completely earnest when it starts splashing nonsense all over your screen for doing next to nothing.

I think they realised the bad points of FoW and tryed to make them better, will most likely buy this game.

What is it with shooters these days that melee attacks HAVE to be 1 hit kills.

What I don't get is why it still holds any epeenary weight when someone does it, if anything the shame should be on the person who had to use a knife to kill rather than the person was knifed when its that insanely easy.

You have to get right up next to someone to stab them, so that's half of it.

You can actually use points to buy stuff while you're playing? For the menus inbetween spawns its a good idea but being able to do it while you're runnning around seems incredibly cheesy. Here comes a tank, oh i'll just buy a rocket launcher and take it out 0_o

And whats with the firing sound for the m4 in that video? Sounds like a crackhead woodpecker going to town on a piece of tin.
