Homeworld 3 - Released 13th May 2024 (early access 10th May)

I've recently replaced HW1 with the remastered players patch which helped but I still remember so many of the missions. I still remember the first playthrough I gave up on, I think the 2nd last mission, I'd set a load of ships to defend the mothership but had them in a sphere formation. This meant they didn't move and the mother ship was destroyed (I caught it too late) by ships outside the defenders weapons range.

I didn't enjoy Deserts of Kharak although I didn't give it much of a chance. When I realised I still had to sit at the end of a map to harvest everything I gave up after a few missions.

I do hope they manage a compelling story again.
 
Have you seen the announcement that there is going to be a coop roguelike mode in the game? I think thats such a perfect idea. The one problem with homeworld games is that I didn't really like the multiplayer
 
true but your assuming i can play it at the moment.
people first impressions are also interesting. this seems quieit a differant set up to the previous games.
 
Hopped on to this incredibly briefly last night. Camera is going to take some getting use to, but love the look and feel of it!
