How about a Linux gallery?

The stats info is provided by 'corky'. On ubuntu it's in the repository. You have to add through >administration>synaptic package manger. It does need some configuration though. There are plenty of .conkyrc files out in the wild.

Here's my current desktop designed to be used completely without a mouse. (I've still got it as a backup though :p ). XMonad as wm and urxvt as terminal. Xmobar is used to achieve the top bar. To operate firefox without a mouse I use vimperator addon.

Have you tried ratpoison, salabra?

I believe I've tried just about all tiling WMs, including ratpoison. But in the end I prefer xmonad. It's fast, stable and integrates well with xmobar. With a config file written in haskell the possibilities are many as well :)

(even though I don't like having to install the huge haskell-x11 package)

Been thinking about changing how my Ubuntu install looks but haven't got a clue where to go for themes etc! :(

Any help is appreciated!

Quite pleased with it.
Theres nack all on the desktop, and it took me an hour or two to modify 4-5 conky scripts together, plus the time it took to get lmsensors working properly! lol.
I thought i'd leave the DN3D window in the shot...:p.

OS: Debian 5.0
