Hmm, can someone suggest a setup for me? I've been on Mint for a few months now and it's great, really easy to use etc. But i just want a change, to something different/more advanced.

Also, are there any guides that can tell you how to really take advantage of Linux, say for somebody that has somehow managed to studiously avoid using the Terminal? Cheers.

Gentoo is very much my favourite distribution and I would definitely recommend if you want to learn the command line a bit more. Not the easiest distribution to initially set-up but fairly easy to maintain once you get past the learning threshold and have had a play with the various options - it has a steep learning curve but one which I would maintain to be quite fun :).

Probably best installed with access to the net from another pc.

I would post a screenshot from my fully working Gentoo pc but it's still not built yet, just need to order a few more parts :)

Zetec Turbo....? :p

Mate its a Escort RS Turbo, mint as. No its not mine, its someones from Passion Ford forum. Great photography work as well. I love my old fords :)

It's got 2.1 on the back, so it's an Escort with a 2.0 Zetec Engine bored out to 2.1, then turbo'd.

So it's a Zetec Turbo.... :p
