How about a Linux gallery?

First post in this thread, installed Ubuntu yesterday. It's my first time using Linux :)

One question though. Is there anyway of getting the taskbar along the bottom of my left screen, to stretch along both screens?

I don't know about 'stretching' it but right click on one and select 'new panel'. Play around with them 'till it's in the right place.

To add a new panel to a another screen, first create a new panel in your primary screen, right click it and go into its properties and uncheck the expand box. Now you should be able to move it over to your other screens and add all the gadgets you like to the panel.

I'm guessing it's an updated version of mac4lin.

not mac4lin, but a mishmash of themes. i will post up all the details later on for you :p

i wanted to look like mac, but not 100% like mac :p

Edit:

Ok so here is the GTK theme: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Aurora+Leopard+Metaled?content=112152

Metacity: I cant actually find it, but its called Glow Metacity

Icon theme: http://sora-meliae.deviantart.com/art/Meliae-SVG-Icon-Theme-v-1-2-151155215

i have the AWN dock too. i found docky harder to use with custom icons.

Been running the Ubuntu 10.04 LiveCD for a few days to see if i want to install it over Mint. I'm not sure, but more to the point i'm not sure why i downloaded the Gnome version when looking at Xubuntu XFCE has more than caught up in terms of ease of use, and is so much lighter on resources.
