Here's my openbox config :D

(downsized by picasa from 1920x1080)

Love how it uses 186mb of RAM where windows uses over 1gb on boot
So much more responsive aswell

Recently decided to put Crunchbang back on my laptop as W7 is getting slower and slower on the poor old thing, it's happily running #! 10 Statler though, did some tweaks on it to make it better for me.
Dropped to one window/desktop as I don't use two.
  • Changed Conky's look and information.
  • Changed theme.
  • Changed window theme.
  • Made various applications have transparent backgrounds.
  • Drastically cut down the application menu as I don't use half of what there was.

Just realised I still have the time/date Conky, might as well remove that really as the taskbar clock is visible.

Fixed:

Cheers. I like things clean and simple on my desktops, which is why there is so little there. The image used can be found here, for once, GD proved to be useful as it was posted in the random pics thread. :)

Here's mine atm. Ubuntu 10.04 lts, openbox + tint2 + conky. terminal is terminator. It's a dual monitor setup 2x1680x1050 hence the dual tint2 bars.

hmm, does it work on openbox?
tbh I'd be happy if I could just have a console showing top on my desktop.

Hope this post answers your question ;)
