looks nice

is there a fan for it

the fan wants to go on the side u can see in that picture, so it can blow over through the fins then out through your top case fan on the antec 300.

You need to rotate it by 90 degrees, as when you wack a fan on it (or have it passive) it needs to be in the airflow of the case fans with the largist surface area in this "wind tunnel"

For optimal cooling you need to turn the heatsink 90 degrees so its facing the rear/front of the case and not the top/bottom.

And also who advised him to install RAM before anything else? RAM should be last to be installed because its so delicate. Its so easy to install I don't understand why anyone would install it before the machine was finished.

The 300's largest fan is in the top of the case so it should be good like that.

yes also depends on how the fans are orientated.
in my 300 the large top fan draws air out to remove all warm air from the case, the rear fan also does the same, the 2 front and single side fan suck air into the case, the dust collectors do a darn good job on this case.

the bracket on the cpu cooler does the mounting, the 4 red plugs are not needed, only used in place of screws when mounting to a casr chassis

and the fan comes with three adaptor wires - one that looks like i can run it directly off the psu, and two that run off the MOBO, black one for low noise and blue one for ultra low noise...but the quieter they run the less speed they run at.
ive got the black low noise one on at the moment as i dont want to use the blue and not have it running quickly enough.

recommendations?
