How far/long is your commute?

0.7 Miles, I walk which takes about 10 to 15 Im quite lucky as I get a lift if weathers bad (someone from work starts at same time on same days and passes my house).

On other occasions when there off and so on I take my motorbike takes about 5 - 10 minutes due to insanely long waits at lights grr.

40 miles each way. 45 minutes on a good day. 60-75 minutes on a bad day. I have a 9 day fortnight (i.e. 5 days on, weekend and then 4 days on, weekend etc...). Only drive every other day too because i'm in a car share, extra sleep!

Live around Portsmouth, work in Gosport or live around Gosport, work in Portsmouth?

My commute is about 9 miles each way. 15 minutes on a good day, 25 minutes when I leave late

Live in Gosport, work in Gunwharf :D

It's a night & day change from when I worked in Segensworth, that's 9.1 miles each way but took 1-2 hours on an average day to get home!

Holiday periods the drive took 20 minutes, I LOVED driving those roads on clear days :(

I cycle 9 miles each way to the office:

Green lights all the way - 30 mins
Normal - 35 mins
Heavy traffic - 45 mins

Train and walk - 50 mins!

It takes me 15-20 minutes to walk to work. Work has to be within walking distance for me. If I end up with a different job I would make sure to move closer to it if needed

3.6 miles in a car and takes 14 minutes (urban traffic)

Probably about 2.5 miles on the cycle bike as i can cutt through a lot of paths.

A colleague mentioned the Cadbury shop, will have to check it out sometime as Portsmouth is where I am a couple of nights a week. Is it in Gunwharf then?

5 min walk to station, 35 min train, 5 min walk to underground, 10 min underground, 5 min walk to office. I enjoy the time on the underground and train to read, couldn't drive it, would drive me insane.
