How far/long is your commute?

Live in Gosport, work in Gunwharf :D

It's a night & day change from when I worked in Segensworth, that's 9.1 miles each way but took 1-2 hours on an average day to get home!

Holiday periods the drive took 20 minutes, I LOVED driving those roads on clear days :(

Would love to work in Gunwharf, really like it around there. Plenty of options for lunch which would suit me (read not my wasteline or wallet) nicely :D

This might sound weird but I actually forget to have lunch in an eatery most days as I'm too used to just dropping by the Tesco and grabbing a snack lunch as I tend to make lunch trips between walking from one building to the other so actually pay no attention to the the places :(

It doesn't help that the weather has been pants for months though, doesn't get me in the mood sadly :(

I do grab a Nando's once a week though!

Totally depends on the day :p

Monday it was 40 miles each way, today it will be 7 miles each way, tomorrow 150 miles each way :p

13 miles atm, takes about 30 minutes unless I get stuck behind a tractor.

soon to be 20 miles and take about 45 minutes and less chance of tractors.

7 minute walk down the road.

It obviously saves me money on travel so I kind of have an inflated income. Unfortunately going further afield means that my income basically stays the same as the increase would have to be pushed towards travel costs.

Nando's would just about do it :D To be honest I think I would be the same, eating out every day would get rather expensive and the speed/convinience of a superkmarket is always appealing. However there are some great places for food around there that's for sure.

6.5 miles and I cycle it on the trusty mtb workhorse. Time can vary between 21mins to 30mins depending on weather, direction of travel and whether I am cruising or giving myself a bit of a workout.

Lived here almost 15 years and not really ventured into many places since Gunwharf went live but to be honest it's only the past year or so that I've taken a vested interest in wanting to eat out and experience these things.

Restaraunts and things have only really been reserved for very special occasions so maybe a few times a year when visiting friends/family in other towns but more locally here previous to this if out with friends then it would be Nando's only or something more basic, nobody wants to spend too much money even though if the product or service is good then I don't bat an eyelid at the thought of paying a bit extra!

Used to be 52ish miles round trip, about 45 mins each way. As of last month it's now an 18 mile round trip 15 mins each way.
