But then again everything you do kills you and equally doing nothing is also hazardous for your health - depending on when and what you read everything gives you cancer and that sometimes includes the things that are beneficial in other studies. I begin to think that all ways up you're kind of stuffed with this living business so it seems all you can realistically do is live the way that works for you and try not to worry about the rest too much.
As for me I probably work about 8 hours a day on average, try to go to bed for 7-8 hours although how long I actually sleep for out of that is anyones guess.
I work 8am to 4:30am weekdays (8.5) hours and sleep for 8.5 to 9 hours. No idea why, i've tried reducing it but I just feel completely unable to function without my sleep averaging that. On the weekend I'll typically sleep a bit less due to staying up yet being in the same wake up pattern.
During the week I'd say I get around 6 hours of sleep, usually 1am-7am. Weekend varies massively, from either 3-4 hours through to 9-10 hours depending what I get up to. If I'm having a quiet weekend though, I'll still probably get around 6 hours sleep, it'll just be from around 3/4am through to 9/10am.
