Out of curiosity I held down the calculator button on my keyboard
That was the most I could get it to open. Vista didn't like it much. Started doing weird things like not displaying menus and toolbars (note lack of menu in screenshot.)
I was watching a technet video on vista performance, and they were all laughing about people disabling services thinking it speeds up their pcs...

No it's not bad on Vista, it makes little difference at all since those default processes are not consuming any measurable CPU time so disabling them at most will free up a few MB of RAM and nothing more.
It's bundled software like Norton and the like which does use up resources however.

Ah, I might look into disabling some of them then... Remote registry is one I will axe, but i'm sure it wont impact on the performance much. I just dont like the idea of it!
