Landlords will just factor it into the rent and probably even add a bit extra on top too. Corbyn knows this but it makes him look good because it's a nice headline.Not looking forward to getting ours through the post, I expect around 5% increase as well, it's currently £172 per month, so will be around £180 I imagine.
That's quite a lot, I think council tax needs to be looked at, I know Corbyn said he would abolish it and place it on the landlords, but when will enough be enough and when will they price people out of being able to pay it?
Wow I presume you must live in a pretty big house / have a high band - that’s a huge increase!!! Assuming you have the whole ‘don’t pay for two months’ it’s £300Ours just went up to £302 a month, from £271. Awesome.
