Ahh, you haven't gone for the mod 1 & 2 in the same day, wimped out! :p Good luck, enjoy that moment you open the throttle for the first time!

*works great IF you pass mod 1, not so well if you don't... :D

I loved the feeling of passing mod 1 in the morning, knowing that was the hard bit out the way and I'd have my full licence by the afternoon, I'd hate to have had to wait a week until I could do mod 2.

That's the tough bit about the bike test because it is spread over a few days will make it difficult for me to do.

I work in a school which are very against letting you book holiday unless it's during half term.

WAIT - It gets better! So along with having my time restricted already by my job, my partner who is a teacher (and really against me getting a motorbike) would probably attempt to kill me if I booked off holiday time during the holidays just to take a bike test and not spend time with her.

She's already annoyed the CBT takes up the entire Sunday!

I wonder if I'll ever get a bike at this rate :(

Get a new other half, it's the only option.

When we first got together a few years back I told her I was considering getting a bike she said "you can have a motorbike or a girlfriend, not both"

Well.... :)

My last gf never mentioned anything about me riding when we first started chatting, once we were together she then got round to telling me that she'd had a crash where a guy had ridden straight into the back of her and killed himself and that she hates bikes.

Notice the last part of that statement :D

Oh my. I wasn't quite sure how much I would enjoy the CBT. Absolutely one of the most fun days I've had in ages!

Wasn't too keen on the boring bit at the beginning explaining roads or driving around cones but as soon as we were let out for 2 hours on the road I think I had a constant grin on my face.

Yes, 125s are super slow but I still had a blast. Managed to eventually get it to go 60mph but after doing that, it wasn't enough.

Cant wait to crack on with the rest now.

It's definitely an addiction! I just needed to pop down the hill to the shop earlier but once I got out in the sun it turned into a rather long pop to the shop :D

I'm still grinning from ear to ear now. Funny thing is, driving has never, ever made me feel like this.

I wasn't 100% sure this would be for me. I'm now 100% sure it is lol

Just now trying to work out do I get a 125 and build up some road time on a bike in preparation for the DAS or do I just go straight for it?

Sounds like a plan.

Just tried to book my theory and they don't have it on weekends! Doubt my work will let me take a morning off for one either.

Why do we get punished for working full time :(
