Don't think of it as a test. You're just out by yourself (being followed by some weird guy) enjoying a little blast. You'll smash it :) OCUK believes in you!

That's the way I approached it too. Was easier to get into that mode when you're not sat next to a sweaty driving examiner in a car! :)
For my test the guy had some bike issue and so I was followed by the examiner in a car! Every few minutes, "pull over please." And i'd wait for him to catch up! Good shoulder check practice for sure.

I was followed by a chap in a car... it was great, because whenever he'd give the instruction to "take the next right" I'd see him in the lane next to me... effectively stopping anyone from pulling in to my blind spot. It was like having my own little traffic escort :D

Ah that rings a bell! Certainly does act as a rearguard, half the L plate challenge right there!

Just out of question at I already have an A2 license, for MOD 1 do I just bring my driving license with me?

I don't need a CBT or theory test do I?

It was a while ago I did mine but I'm pretty sure the place I did my training wouldn't let me book Mod1 without my CBT and Theory. I started from 0 though. Did my CBT, Theory and MOD1/MOD2 all within a few weeks of each other

I've just booked my Mod 1 as part of my full A license and I was told to bring my current license, my CBT and theory test pass certificates.

I've phoned the DVSA today - Both of my tests are booked as progressive - So only need to take my license with me. :)

No CBT, or theory required.

Well done!
Thank you, hopefully same result for Monday. :)

The instructor said nothing to me on the way home apart from taking the wrong exit at a roundabout (Massive thing, multi-lane in Rotherham) - And said i'm confident at riding and should be fine, just need to make sure I do all the checks.
