How to overclock a 7850 past 1050MHz?

Ok but whats with powertune?
Power tune is the amount of power available to the graphics card. Setting it at +20% is optimal when trying to overclock. If you leave it at 0% or worse, less than that, your GPU will exceed the maximum amount of power allowed and begin to throttle itself. So basically, you'll get worse performance from the overclocked GPU than if it was running at stock. My configuration with power tune is to let CCC control it and GPU Tweak control the Core clock, memory clock and voltage. Sapphire Trixx can control them all, I just prefer GPU Tweak because of it's monitor.

Guys im a little confused, I fitted my gigabyte windforce 7850oc and loaded asus gputweak and i dont have the option to unlock "overclocking range enhancment" ive looked everywhere!

Its under settings -> Tuning and then there is a checkbox named that says "Overclocking Range Enhancements"

Anyways guys i can't adjust my voltage in GPU Tweak. Anyone got a fix for this or something?

The screen just looks like this: http://gyazo.com/e829079416364f2e4c818a7e47059ce8.png?1344362466

Hey guys, newbie here wanting to know about the HD7850's performance @ 2560x1440? I'm playing games such as Skyrim, Tribes, RTW (with lots of mods), HL2 (cinematic mod) and Arma 2.

Would I be able to play these games at their highest settings? They aren't exactly BF3... Bear in mind I'd be overclocking whichever 7850 I got.

I'd be upgrading next year as I normally do so every 12 months, my poor 6850 hasn't had a great time at this resolution :D

Thanks

I just recently bought an XFX 7850. I wiped all of the drivers off of my pc, downloaded Asus GPU Tweak, and downloaded the 12.4 Beta Display Drivers (but nothing else, so no CCC). However, when I go to advanced mode in GPUTweak, I can check the Overclocking Enhancement thing, but I don't have an option to change the voltage. The voltage doesn't even show up on the screen (next to GPU Clock, Memory Clock, and Fan Speed.) Any ideas why this would happening and how I could make the Voltage adjustable?

Had the same thing with GPU Tweak no matter what version I had, MSI Afterburner allowed me to change the voltage along with the clocks so I just used that.

I got this problem too, although im not quite sure if mine even changes in MSI Afterburner because when i run the kombuster test the voltage is always at 12.1 at the upper left corner.

Should have probably got the 7870/7950 on reflection, but went with 2 7850's, primarily because I bought 2 :) so every £20 in price for one, was doubled.

The 7850's do seem to perform very nicely, reading this thread they seem on a par with 7950's once overclocked, so with 2 of them I should be a good 50% faster than a reference 7970, for less than 7970 lightning money ;)
