There are all sorts of minor cosmetic things too and I'm sure there are suspension tweaks, spare wheels and track days.

Actually, sod that, I'd use the money to enter a race series. If I total the car, can I buy a replacement?

Focus ST

Install an AWD system, maybe from the Kuga
Either Focus RS engine built to 450+bhp or I'd go mental and stick a Stang V8 in there.
Gearbox and drivetrain upgrade
Big brake upgrade (brembo or AP racing)
Suspension upgrade
Carbon roof, bonnet and boot
Full body respray to fix all the cosmetic swirls and stone chips
New set of ST alloys (I actually think they suit the car anyway)
Bucket seats from Focus RS, remove all other seats!
Custom interior finished in alcantara and leather
Polycarbonate windows
Roll cage and all other safety requirements to meet FIA and MSA standards

Racing license
Whatever is left over to enter racing events to earn £££ to buy a Nissan GTR and a Range Rover.

100k??

Not sure I would do much to the XF:
New Exhaust/intake - 2k
Buy a set of Winter wheels and tyres 2k
Buy a spare set of Summer alloys and tyres - 2k
Upgrade the Sat-Nav DVD - £100
Full paint correction - £500
Full wrap to protect it - not sure what colour - 2k
Professional Re-map - 1k
Subtle private plate, perhaps? 1k?

MGB GT
Professional Honda S2000 engine/gearbox conversion - 10k
Supercharging - 5k
Wider wheels - 2k
Sebring arch conversion -2k
Full strip/Re-spray - 5k
Full suspension modernisation - 10k
Dashboard Refresh - 2k
New seats/Harnesses/etc - 5k
Larger brakes, and convert rears to discs - 2k

Thats all I can think of for now!
This then leaves me a shedload to spend on the Mrs's A4 and my Honda Monkey bike.

Remap
Hybrid turbo
Full greddy exhaust system
Sports cats (meow)
Braided lines
Fancy discs
Fancy pads
Top mount inter cooler
Gauges for days
Updated fuel pump
Various suspension tings
New tyres

Should be around 400bhp. Not sure that would spend anywhere never 100k. Kinda pointless really

Depends if its your generic 1.2, turn it into an RS rep, Almost did that with my 1.2 MK2 PH2, don't see many Cyclone Blue clio's sporting 1*2 kit...Then I realised it was a waste of money xD

Yep, it's a standard MK3 Clio Dynamique 1.4. I doubt I would do anything to it, I'd bend the rules and buy something else cheap and then do that up.

100k into a mondeo taxi hmm

Full interior redone with some focus rs front recaros dash and panels wrapped in lovely leather
A lot of sound proofing dynamat etc
Some very nice in car entertainment
And a lot of spare fuel

In fairness I'd probably settle for a set of focus st3 front seats and rear bench trimmed to match and a professional detail

Hmmm, I'll go with the DC2.

- Some fancy custom block turbo B18 build from RDT.
- Hewland dog box.
- Plenty of money in carbon parts custom fabricated locally up here in Abz by a wizard.
- A good stock of various slick tyres.
- Fancy suspension.
- Plenty of weight saving and further custom bits.
- A good chunk of driving tuition.

- Plenty of aero catches, so my engine cover doesn't come off, stalling the rear wing and flipping me into the crash barrier due to 40,000 lb/ft/lightyears of downupsidewaysinverse aeroforce.........
