The Windows 7 version also has ION LE (DX9) according to reports. Doesn't matter as it makes no difference what so ever to Windows and you will not be able to play any DX10 games at an acceptable framerate anyway.

Seeing as you have plenty 'hands on' experience with this device, can you please check to see if the Intel 5300 WiFi card will fit in place of the original?

I prefer 'Draft N' wireless and would love to know this before buying as I already have the Intel card here anyway :)

I'm so conflicted between this, something with a Core 2 Solo Processor or just buying an HP DV6 full blown laptop, £315 seems good but I'm a little worried about just what it will and won't do compared to a laptop, I guess multi tasking of any kind is out of the question?
 
I've never used a netbook at all, its just a lot of people seem to suggest that on a netbook you should be able to for example play a movie and browse the web, or have iTunes playing and browse the web at the same time,
 
Well, just ordered the: Compaq Mini 311c-1010SA Notebook PC (VJ555EA) for: £296.10. Plus i will get £8 back through Quidco making it £288.10. Just got to get some extra ram for it now!!
PC3-8500 1066MHz DDR3 SODIMM Got find a cheap price for some now!

Those that have upgraded the ram. Did you find a big difference in the PC's speed / usage? Just wondering wether or not to buy the ram now or wait a little bit.

The only reason I sold my NC10 was because I needed bigger resolution and hdmi output, else I'd be rocking the NC10 still.

Believe me, unless you're heavy gaming these things should cater to almost all needs.
