Tried your drivers mrk but no joy, reckon my win7 install is messed up. I also cant run the windows experience index, it says i do not have any multimedia capabilities to test lol

Nvidia ion now shows up in device manager.

Bizarre! reinstall methinks :)

Just doing a total reinstall from an external dvd drive. Deleted the partion and starting again.

I will then put the drivers on you recommend mrk and in the same order.

Good luck man!

I ran Aero assessment and got:

processor : 1.5
memory: 4.2
graphics (aero): 2.9
graphics (gaming): 5.2
primary hard disk: 5.5

I think the cpu score is due to the sidebar using the cpu more, I had this issue on the NC10 as well so am re-running the test with sidebar turned off.

Edit*

ok so with sidebar disabled I get:

processor : 1.6
memory: 4.2
graphics (aero): 4.4
graphics (gaming): 5.3
primary hard disk: 5.5

Can anyone else with Win7 installed do the same?

62 processes during idle.

I noticed in cpu-z that the cpu is throttling randomly between 1600mhz and 800mhz - does yours do the same?

Yeah, mine does that however I have far fewer processes running:

Ok, Idle at boot is 48 processes, I had Windows update going before so some windows services and processes kicked in :p

Well i reinstalled windows 7, put the ion driver on and then loaded the chipset drivers.

I still cannot run the windows experience index. Do you think my netbook is faulty?

Did you install the chipset drivers? they install the correct mobo drivers else you won't be able to do much else :p

After looking on google it can be a problem with the video card not having enough ram to perform its full tests. I only have 1gb until monday. Maybe you guys with 3gb allow the ion vid chip access to more memory.
