As for the accessories, just got case from currys, they said there were a few with stock in the northeast like Newcastle and Gateshead. Same as Argos. Ask them to check the stock in store for other shops.

What do people think of WeAreElectricals? They have poor shop feedback but nether the less seem legit.

I'll go on and attempt a purchase...a claim of 800 or so units with no doubt thousands of people attempting to purchase from them will no doubt end in disappointment! Will be bought on my credit card if the price is right and for extra protection.

I'm in complete agreement.

I'm also expecting their site to crash, so I'm not really expecting to be able to fully complete an order in the first place.

Same here, should be fun!

I'm actually quite excited for tomorrow morning. I feel this may be the final chapter in this long running saga.

Anyways, they announced on Twitter "For those who want to register an account in advance for speedy checkout - http:######"

The fact they said this indicates to me that they have stock and it will go live tomorrow - Why else would you need to be prepared with an account???

I have no doubt they have stock, it's just the with holding of the price....

it's not bad. Horrible viewing angles though and not the snappiest pad around.

Played a little with one this morning, abeit without internet. Seemed quite usable. My biggest question is whether it will play iPlayer? I know the mobile stream works, but is the resolution sufficient for the larger screen?

How many people registered accounts at online stores this week? The retailers have just got a shed load new (potential) customer details. Kinda thing they might actually pay real money for.

a few on hotdeals have noticed weareelectricals are followed on twitter by the supplier of Misco and Cleverboxes...

with that information I can not see it being less than £199 for the 16gb

Can't see it happening. You get the 16gb cheaper on eBay. Wouldn't make much sense tbf.

I'll be the first one to congratulate you if you're right however :)

I really want to be wrong, but he does not inspire confidence, with continual tweets on how he will release the price in on Tuesday morning...

Also a lot of people also feel he no way has 800 units in stock, I just can not see his logic in drumming up all this interest, if he was going to charge the new HP price one would have thought he would have done it quietly
