another guy posting to say that weareelectricals wont have the stock

has anybody found out if the retailer We Are Electricals is legit?

legit company but only been trading since June last year, I work in the IT trade and spoke with C2000 & Westcoast (trade distributors) and they told me HP is pushing all the stock through the large retailers

it's all shameless self promotion so people are talking about their company.

It's highly unlikely HP will give the last of their stock to a company who hasn't sold any of them before....

They're claiming 900 units at that, looking at the shipping list that's doing that rounds. With those kind of numbers I'm very sceptical to say the least.

That's quite encouraging, did you also get a receipt through the post?

I also notice that the list Prickul posted would seem to be accurate in respect to the John Lewis stock that came in on Saturday, and also possibly about the rumours for tomorrow:-

yeah...i'd imagine most would be going to large retailers with a proven track record for selling HP equipment...i may even go so far to say that it may be shipping them to HP for sale?
 
Just to let everyone know that my QuickOffice just updated. It can now edit word and excel files. More excitingly, Google Docs is now integrated for online storage of documents!

Im a bit miffed - really want one of these, dont think i will be on at 0930 tomorrow cos ill be at work, im sure ill miss out again :(
 
Naan - not the wrong thread - QuickOffice is installed by default on the Touchpad. This represents a pretty major useability increase for the touchpad which, prior to the update, couldn't edit files.

My bad - i thought you meant to post in the official touchpad thread. Thanks for the info - makes me want one even more :)

it would be better to have this kind of chat in the official one instead , keep this thread for stock updates :)

how did you get it to update?
