it is under warranty and HP have said they will honour all warranties, and the ones that arrived faulty on HOtdeals HP have told them they either repair or replace.

I am not entirly sure I agree with you, as 3 weeks ago it was £400, ok so now it is £89...

I can not remember where I heard it but I read somewhere where they wrote the value of something is what people are willing to pay for it, not what the person before them paid for it.

I think I have paid exact market value as we currently stand

Sorry, I wasn't aware that they could get replacements!

Well, I'm willing to pay £89, and that's it :)

I can confirm Insight do have some stock and selling them at a fixed price of...

Purchase Total: 193.18 inc VAT and Delivery

I don't know if I can justify that or not

So..as soon as Insight match ebay pricing, everyone decides that it's a great price for a high quality, albeit discontinued product? YOu do realise that there is no tangile benefit for purchasing through Insight for £200 or through ebay for £200....

Well they are more reputable than ebay sellers..... then theres the fact its likely these are the last the country will see apparently? Also people are using it to justify a purchase clearly?

Also im not sure if they are going to completely discontinue it... since they are quite pleased with the hype about it now.

For £100 more than insights 32GB price, I can get a Dell Inspiron 17R laptop ffs!

Lunacy. That offers far more value than a discontinued touchpad. Lol.

Talk about people becoming obsessive. Most people didnt even want one before.

If you do pay these inflated prices, then you are a bit of a mug tbh.

The only way I found out that tablets are a toy is by getting one, (for £200 - Android) a few months back.

The £89 Touchpad seemed like a nice way to get a better toy, but they really are not worth £200 and people who have paid that will realise eventually.

its not worth that at all!

I disagree. The Touchpad is still a better tablet compared to all the others that retail @ £200.

It's only when you get into the £275+ bracket that the Touchpad stops making sense.

The Amzon tab will probably change this reasoning over the next month though.
