I got lucky and cancelled my Amazon order for the 32gb at full price.....
Subsequently bought it off the Argos website at full price and since then got my partial refund..... Happy with Argos......
Amazin were really annoying over the phone too, the indian call centre had no idea and after 20 minutes I just said forget it, cancel my order as I got fed up talking to her, also made a complaint how poor the service was.

Getting very fed up with amazon now regarding a refund for my full price touchpad bought on the 22nd. They have now sent me a link to HP's own refund program only problem is the touch pads serial number needs to have been activated before the 23rd Aug to be legible for a partial refund. Mine arrived on the 24th :(
Called Amazon again for the 5th time and as usual they say they will look in to it.

If you recd it on the 24th then you need to start the returns proccess by COP today else you'll be outside the 7 day DSR window.

Unlucky.

Ok so i called up hp about my order i made through the 'dodgy link' he said that the offer for £69 was meant for employees only and the order went into error and he said it would have never went through anyway so he had to cancel it. plus he said they were all sold out when i made the order.

However he did say they will be getting new stock in the next couple of weeks and to keep and eye on the website.

PS: i got mine already that i ordered from insight :D

Same here dodgy link cancelled.

"There is a possibility that we will have more stock in about 2 weeks although this hasn’t been confirmed yet."

I can confirm that you shouldn't e-mail them either, this is my response

Hello Richard,

Thank you for your email.

Due to an unprecedented amount of orders and account creations
through our website I can confirm that we are unable to fulfil your order.

Please accept my apologies for this situation and be assured that any monies paid will
be refunded in full.

Kind Regards,

You're welcome. I feel all warm inside......

Posted from my Touchpad ;)

I am also the other grateful one :D

Posted from my Dual Core i5 8gb ram because my touchpad is on its touchstone charger in its case in front of the bluetooth keyboard and I cannot be arsed to get up.

No luck today, no luck with PCW, no luck with EPP.

On the plus I did sell my old iPod Touch and Netbook for a combined total of £190 - although I couldn't bare to pay that for a Touchpad. Might continue saving for an android tab of some description.

One thing this has shown is Amazon are going to sell a shed load of their tablets when they go to market!

I've just dumped £2k into their shares in anticipation.

Um actually their manufacturer is due to ship 20 million.

No guarantees on sales.

Using the same criteria even the touchpad was a great success due to shipments to resellers etc......

In the first 2 months of iPad they sold 2M, and the HP Touchpad may have done that too, but they didn't have to drop them in price, and as far as we know the HP Touchpad has been discontinued therefore those numbers will not rise.

iPads are selling out, flying off the shelves, etc.

I hate(ish) Apple btw.
