Trying to out do an Apple on the walled garden approach.....

If they want me to have one it needs to be nearer £100, after all Amazon prime outside US is just free delivery not with the extras they get.....

SO...got my life back for a bit and didn't check this thread. I'm assuming that I now have 0% chance of grabbing a TP?

It's near to 0% but not 0%. There are murmurs of some extra stock that some retailers may get but it's unlikely. Occasionally a retailer gets some stock but it disappears very quickly.

Rumours have it that Argo getting stock for stores only (not online) on the 11th.

All these will be sold to staff most likely before customers get a chance.

Your chance of getting a Touchpad at firesale prices probably depends on whether you work or know somebody who works at Argos.

They are not. Sorry I should have made it clear. They are due to arrive in the distribution warehouse on Sunday and then go out to shops from Monday onwards........

Ahh gotcha...annoyingly (for this) I am in Monza over the weekend for Grand Prix...hopefully a guy at my work can try and grab one for me

The eBay market is still around £200 for the 16GB. In terms of value for money do people think this is a good deal, if you want a tablet now, and you missed out? Is it not still competitively priced compared to other tablets?
