The touchpad has 4 times the ram as the Ipad 1, and a significantly stronger processor, so hopefully HP will patch and improve their OS or the android port will smooth things along.

Been trying to get one of these since firesale started with still no luck...

Very tempted to buy one on auction site for £190...

Does anyone think they are worth that prices? Still is quite a reduction from the £350 they used to sell for, and Android is coming along really nicely and is only a matter of time for dual boot!

I got the bundle deal from DSG last week for the 32GB @£236. For that price I think its worth the money definitely. Once android is sorted the price can only go up, and no more will be made, just do it and be done torturing yourself !

Not really impressed with my 32GB TP. Tweaked it and overclocked. It's a great £115 web browser and potential is there for when I wanna store a few movies and songs for when I go on holiday next month. But until a stable Android port is developed (I get my colleagues asking me every single day about it), I don't think I'll be using it for more than half an hour a day on average.

But if CPW end up getting a deal done with RIM, then I fancy picking up a Playbook myself too as I have a Bold 9900 and I actually quite like the Playbook's UI.

Oh dear, a troll posted that Amazon would have more at 4:30 this morning.

Appartently there were 4000 odd online on HDUK at 4:30 ish.......

Talk about desperate, many moaning about it.

lol. you have to feel sorry for those guys. Before you laugh at them, of course.

yep, it is getting very desperate, especially now people are starting to affect their lives, sitting up all night is just plain daft, and a little stupid..

It was noticeable as well that the begging had just started, when this rumour was going viral last night the amount of posts with hard luck stories and basically hoping someone will buy one for them was a little creepy, it was like watching X-Factor all over again.

I think the thing what makes me laugh the most is that they can get one in a heartbeat, they just have to put their hands in their pockets, if they were as desperate as most of them make out then they would pay £180-£200 on ebay

well I received mine last week from PCs and its very much a fully blown tablet Well worth the cost! I'm loving it.

if you can grab one for 200 then I would say do it!

It was actually slightly heavier than I expected, but I was impressed with the lovely sharp, clear and bright screen, and also the 'touch' interface, which I didn't find too sensitive... unlike my Galaxy S!

Would obviously like to have got one cheaper, but I pleased I got the full 'bundle' though, and (for what it's worth), I do have the 'backing' of DSG in the event of any problems, rather than some anonymous eBay seller!

I shall still continue to keep my eyes open though, should any more happen to appear at the 'fire sale' prices.

To be fair, I think it's easily worth that. At that price it's the best bargain around - but only if you were actually shopping for a tablet. If you don't *really* need one, then it takes something like £89 to tempt you into buying it :)

Or to quote the advertising slogan of a (fairly) well known on-line goodie seller... "something which you don't really need, but which you realy, really want!" :D

the only fault I would say is the switch to landscape to portrait is a little too sensitive. If that's the only issue, then I would say its surely a well produced and well thought tablet .

220857912828 guy on ebay selling the 16gb for 130. Be quick as they are selling fast, peeps on hot deals are buying. Some feel he may be a scam.

Thats really in price with the DSG bundle really - without the touchstone/case obviously. so not a bad deal.

But with android on the horizon 32Gb prob the better option

Hmmm... no feedback as a seller at all!

I wonder where he managed to get that many from... personally, I don't think I would risk it.
