If you're using 2G it will take ages to load streams - use wifi or 3g
I am using WiFi, so I tried it on 3G just in case its the same. Maybe I should re-install?

Had a play at the Vodafone store. I like it very much especially the actual phone. Very usable, light but felt well built. Intuitive to use etc. Still not 100% sure whether to get it over a iPhone though? I am addicted to the plane landing game on the iPhone too...
Forgot to ask if the contract was for 18 months on the £35/month in store contract.
I do like how it uses standard USB cables to charge. Means I can always have it on charge at home and work with out having to buy new chargers. Will need one for car though.

Thanks for all your help Mrk. I've placed my order, subject to credit check. Not had any credit previously, and being a contractor pay is a bit irregular. Hopefully that will process successfully.
Should be fine...my credit at the moment is pretty dire as its my house thats been blacklisted...no thanks to my shady little brother but i passed the credit check no problems.
I think the thing that's upsetting most of the people on the forum is the fact that the phone comes preloaded with apps like a youtube client which will eat up your allowance in no time. The general feeling is that Vodafone have't really thought about the data needs of a phone like the Magic.
