HTC's customer service is absolutely dire. I was promised a call back regarding the delivery of my Vive and unsurprisingly no call back came. I have no idea when it will be shipped. I've taken five days off work from the 5th onwards and I may have wasted my holiday time.

Doubt it. I think so many peeps will be selling the bottom will come out of it. Plus I ordered 6hrs after...so have no idea idea when I'd be getting it.

I got my call back and they had screwed the order up. He's contacting the shipping team to get it sorted.

They tell you when they are starting to ship? I've booked a few days off from the 5th to plug into the matrix too

I have a hold on my Debit Card of the amount for the vive - but it doesnt show in my pending transactions.

Gave my bank a call and they confirmed it is for Digital Revolver (who are doing the vive payments) and is confirmed through - no fraud issues.

shipping is handled by DHL, anyone have experience with them?, I was kinda hoping it would be DPD for the UK.

Last time I used DHL Express it was for an international package from Portugal and it arrived quicker than Royal Mail Special Delivery normally does.

I'm afraid they didn't Bosh. I'm in the dark as much as you. If I've taken some time off work and don't get it, I'll be so disappointed. The last time that happened was when I got the day one release Xbox One.
