no, its easy, every time you create a new order you create a new database ID and you sort by that, or transaction time... its actually harder to create a new record and have it inserted in to an old slot
 
Strange I can't log in to the order status using e-mail address and credit card digits, but using my order number seems to work. Anyone else getting that?

That's happened to me too. I was a bit suspicious but just put it down to a moderately chaotic launch schedule. As I was still able to log in with the order number I decided not to worry about it.

But I'd be interested to know if people can log in with address and credit card digits...

I can login with my email and card details as well as with order number
 
On the whole which wave thing, I prior to this I dont believe there was a second wave for april. It almost sounds to me like they have just decided to bring forward the may wave 1 and call it april wave 2.
 
I pre-ordered both HMDs. The Vive was paid up front via Paypal and so far no definite shipping date just the previous "order is being processed" email. I just received an email about the Rift and that states that I will get an update on the 12th of April so in both cases very frustrating!

That statement makes it look like they are trying to blame your bank, but people who have spoken to their banks have said that the payment processor has been tring multiple times to take the money but using wrong details, so it trips the fraud detection

Telling your bank still wont let it go through if they keep getting the details wrong lol

Well I'll put money on you getting the Vive first! Depending when you put down the orders of course. No one in the UK has had any info regarding Vive shipment, but most on the Reddit Vive forum believe we will know more tomorrow. I'm not as optimistic to be honest!

I'm expecting them to ship tomorrow with delivery on Wednesday. I imagine arrival on the releasedate (Tuesday) is a bit optimistic unless they are shipping from the UK.
 
Wednesday would be great as I usually have a day off then, apart from it's being sent to my work address but no hanging around all day for a courier at least. I've done that ion the past and wasted most of day.

I think I'll put up another shelf today by my PC desk so I've got somewhere to store the HMDs.

Well I heard UK express can get from Czech Rebublic over night... Hoping this is right, but again I am going to manage my expectations! I'm glad I didn't take the 5th off! I decided to wait just to make sure:)
 
Took delivery of 2 lamp stands for the Lighthouses today, should stop the misses getting annoyed when I want to use it in the living room lol.
 
How do the lighthouses get fixed to the wall? Can I get away with a temporary solution like the commandstrip stuff (no idea how worldwide that stuff is)
