Huel: The Future of Food ..

I think you definitely need a blender for Huel. It just makes it hard to have at work :(

That's why I found that Breville quite good, it comes with 2 big bottles and 2 smaller ones so I could blend up a couple each morning and put them in the fridge when I got to the office.

Yeah that's a good shout actually.

And even the ones with a metal ball is just not up to scratch.

I agree, but when I'm on the mountains for the day making up Huel before I go isn't an option, especially in summer. The ball helps quite a bit.

Huh I don't think I've had any problems with mine and I've been making mine with milk and PB with the occasional nutella, unless I've just been given a really well blended batch?

I agree it does - on the once or twice a week that I use Huel it is not an issue, it just looks a bit odd being in the office shaking the hell out of a shaker in an open plan office :p

Could be worse, stick a huge blender on your desk and see what reaction you get :D

Yeah maybe mine has some humidity in it and has started to clump - I had biting on a clump when the powder releases... ugh :(

Been offered a free bag of Huel from a mate bought it try to but doesn't like it. One problem, it's been sitting (sealed) in his smoky den for 6 months, he's a chain smoker. I wonder if the smoke can penetrate the bag?

I don't even have a gauze or blender ball in my shaker. Just put 500ml of water and 3-4 scoops and it's perfectly drinkable for me.

Actually enjoy vanilla one which is frustrating because I ordered 3 bags of unflavoured and only 1 vanilla :(

Why not take it and mix up a batch? If it tastes ok then use it, if not then bin it since it won't get used anyway. Once it has been opened then it's unlikely that the seal will be completely airtight but I'd be surprised if smoke changes the nutritional value of the product to any degree, it might make it taste a bit off though.

Maybe I'm not very good at shaking :( I just hate 'bits' in my shake.

Yeah I'll take it from him. I'll see what it smells like, put it in another container as the bag has had taken a hammering from the fumes. I'll make up a batch from my bag and one from his to compare the taste. :)

I took my little hand-held milk frother thing in for mine as all my protein shakers are the smaller ones since I rarely have more than a scoop of whey if I even drink any at all - far too small for 450ml of water and 100g powder. Isn't the quickest thing in the world and it works best if you add a bit of water and powder at a time, but no lumps in a giant Sports Direct mug!
