Humble Choice

Already got GotG on epic form their xmas giveaways... I think Stranded is the only one that would really interest me, so kinda tempted to cancel it (keep telling myself I will but there's always something to draw me in... or I forget!)

Guardians of the Galaxy is a must for me. It doesn't require any extra payments for DLC either as there is none. (Yes, I got it on Epic but man ain't dealing with that **&*!)
While I eventually got over my distaste for the Epic Launcher, and Epic in general (hey all those free games swayed me), I've switched to using the Heroic Launcher which, IMO, is a lot better. It can automatically create entries in steam when it installs a game for you so then you can just launch it in steam itself. Launcher can also autoclose when you quit the game.

So you downloaded a launcher to link to a launcher that launches in another launcher.

Almost, yes :p

Unless there's a way to make Steam download and manage Epic games by itself, I feel like Heroic is a good compromise. Heroic doesn't link to the Epic Launcher, you sign into it, it also does GoG and Amazon games too. Heroic does the management (install, uninstall, update), but it lets me put the games into steam automatically rather than manually adding a non-steam game. This way I have one less place to look when I want to launch a game, or in my case, one less launcher to fire up as steam is the only launcher that starts with my PC.

I've tried using Playnite, but I found I just go back to using Steam - old habits.

Always at lest something interesting to me on Humble Bundle, enjoyed that Starship Troopers RTS last month, the Lego Drive game was fun too from a few months back, has a great vehicle builder.

Just kept my sub going since before it was Humble Choice, a poster mentioned about not expecting CoD games, but one did have a fairly recent WW2 CoD game as part of one but that's about 4 years back or more.

The normal bundles sometimes well worth picking up as well, they had a great sport bundle recently, Tiger Woods 2023, a good tennis game, 2 skating games and a surfing game all about £20 on bundle. Tennis game alone going at £44 on Steam. Had a great Capcom one too but already had most games.

Nothing there for me this month. Will keep hoping for Stray to appear at some point, seems unlikely though, don't think it's been in any bundles and refuses to drop price. It's only 5 hours or so, so needs to be cheap or bundled.
