Hungarian Grand Prix 2013, Budapest - Race 10/19

I'd rather a drive through. I don't like the grid penalties as it affects the following race for no reason.

Personally think it HAS to be strong penalty - a drive through could be meaningless in the current race(especially if the car retires, ie so what if we have a drive through at this race we are out of it already)

Red Bull walk over then, cheers Pirelli :)

Red Bull walkover because of Adrian Newey imo, regardless of Pirelli's input...

The car is just awesome. Having been to the YDT last week and Silverstone practice it's quite amazing to see how planted and balanced the RB is compared to everyone else (it's almost like the car is in it's own class/division and formula. It's just in a different class compared to the rest of the field which is why Vettel has won the first half of the season (when the tyres weren't as much in favour of RB let's not forget) and I fully expect him to dominate the second half too. It won't be until next season at the least that RB's and Newey's dominance will expire. These four years, after Vettel has won the WDC and RB the WCC will be remembered and cemented properly as the Newey era.

Just put £15 on Kimi to win.

He was 6-1 this afternoon with Titan bet (use Quidco for £15 cashback if you deposit and play £15)

Down to 5.5-1 now.

Track temps estimated to be 50 degrees

I only bet in race now. I stopped betting before the start of a race after seeing what Grosjean could do off the line...!

That's why you will find him back at Williams for 2015 as he will make a point of proving that he is the best and that success will follow him where ever he goes. By switching to his initial F1 team (well, Leyton House doesnt exist anymore!) he will bring them back to winning ways along with the other mayor changes that the team is planning to bring in.

:D

Well, I can bloody well dream can't i?

Based from this...

I'm really not looking forward to the backlash when the WDC is lost due to a dodgy wheel gun and stupid rules.

How many times have the wheels come off this season? Last season? Before that? An F1 car going out without a wheel properly attached used to just not happen. I remember Irvine going off without a wheel but I can't think of a single not-attached-but-on from that era. It's clearly possible but they're not doing it because they think the cost is too high. The solution is penalties punitive enough to make this near-criminal recklessness from the teams simply not worth it.

They need to start treating pit-lane offences much more seriously. The number of unsafe releases and near unsafe releases we've seen this season and last, it's only a matter of time until something very nasty happens in the pits.

Webber's Wild Wheel was entirely predictable, it's a real shame the FIA were so limp wristed about it until someone got hurt. They need to be more brutal and more proactive about this kind of issue.

I'd love to see that happen. I don't think it will, but I'd love to see it. Even better (funnier?) would be if he went to Caterham.
